We had breakfast in a hole in the wall called Milk. Good food , delicious coffee very nice staff.
We then started to navigate to a neighborhood Marlina had found called Dean.
Of course we got lost and this gentleman in brown tweed with a yellow neck scarf asked he could be of assistance.
We told him where we wanted to go.and proceeded to give us a 15 minute tour before sending us in the right direction.
The center of the city is on a ridge line, so we descended into a stream bottom where Dean is located
It is a lovely area with buildings like this
Leith stream meanders through the neighborhood.
After wandering for several hours, we stopped for a snack.
That evening we met up with an old friend for dinner.
We had not seen David in close to 20 years.
Thoroughly enjoyed catching up and reminiscing.
Got home before the rain started

Hang on…you two are supposed to look all haggard and worn out from the long flight. You’re not supposed to look this good. We have makeup artists, handlers, gophers – anyone who can disguise our wrinkly grey patina. You must be followers of Socrates who once said – “eat broccoli and ride a bike”. Pretty sure it was him.
